Mission
Kobe University is committed to reducing waste, reusing resources,
and reducing energy consumption in order to minimize our greenhouse gas emissions.
Kobe University is also working hard to monitor the drainage water discharged from the University
and to ensure it contains no harmful substances. These measures cannot succeed unless every member of
this 20,000-strong University works on an individual basis to meet our environmental goals.
A little care on a daily basis from each individual will add up to a great difference for the environment.
Center for Environmental Management, Kobe University provides information not only on the disposal of cheical waste and the related hazardous waste, but also on the energy consumption and management in Kobe University.
