<A teacher exchange visit from Germany>
SOLAC was pleased to welcome Ms. Andrea Blanco from Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR Berlin) from May 11 to May 22, 2026, as part of ongoing international collaboration and academic exchange between our institutions.
During her stay at Kobe University, Ms. Blanco participated in a range of academic and intercultural activities related to foreign language education and internationalization. She observed and contributed to Academic Communication courses in English, French, and German, took part in a French language exchange club, attended an IELTS preparation session, and engaged in professional discussions with SOLAC faculty members.
Her visit provided valuable opportunities for intercultural exchange and the sharing of teaching practices, while further strengthening the relationship between SOLAC and HWR Berlin.

Dr. Ai-Ling Huang from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan, visited SOLAC on December 12, 2025. We discussed potential future collaborations between NKUST and SOLAC in both research and language education.
