Laboratory of Environmental Microbiology

I have studied the biodegradation of synthetic organic compounds and unused natural resources by isolated microorganism and have tried to apply the isolated bacterial enzymes as a biocatalyst. Our research interests in environmental biotechnology include: isolation and application of bacteria for degradation of manmade substance and natural resources; discovery and characterization of biocatalysts for green chemistry synthesis of valuable compounds and for preparation of functional compounds.
