Since the B. subtilis genome sequencing project meeting in Paris in 1990, the BACELL meeting series has been held annually as an international conference to discuss academic, industrial and technological development of studies on B. subtilis and its related organisms in Europe.

The BACELL meeting 2023 will be held on 20th-23rd November 2023 in Kobe,
Japan.
Thanks to the generous support of Bacillus Industrial Platform (BACIP),
10 European students will enjoy 1,000 EUR of the travel award for each. The awardee will be selected based on the quality of the submitted
abstracts. This time, we might consider early career Postdocs as well.
