JSPS-NSFC Bilateral Program Coresearch Symposium

Background
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) carries out bilateral cooperative programs between Japan and counterpart countries based on agreements concluded with academies, research councils and other science-promotion organizations in those countries. The aim of these programs is to form sustained networks evolved from individual scientist exchanges including young scientists. JSPS provides financial support to Japanese scientists implementing such bilateral joint research projects and seminars between research teams from Japan and counterpart countries.

The Coresearch Project of KobeU and Nanjing Tech
Kobe University has been selected by this program in 2021. Under this program, since April of 2022 The Research Center for Membrane and Film Technology (MaFTech), Kobe University started the coresearch project with the Membrane Science and Technology Research Center of Nanjing Tech University.
In this symposium, the representatives of both centers will introduce the coresearch project to public. In addition, key researchers will present their major research and findings as well. This symposium is completely open to public. Apart from on-site participation, joining on Zoom is also available.

The International Membrane Workshop in Kobe (iWMK2022) opens in Nov 17-18, featured page updated !

The International Workshop on Membrane in Kobe (iWMK) is an annual event hosted by the Research Center for Membrane and Film Technology, Kobe University (MaFTech center), with the aim at academic exchanges and discussions on today’s advanced membrane research and technology.
Owing to the COVID pandemic the iWMK2022 will be an online event on ZOOM. Totally 14 universities from 8 different countries and regions will give presentations on their recent research activities. This time we are very honored to have Prof. Rong WANG from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for a Plenary Talk. Additionally we also improved the student’s online poster presentation with longer time for academic exchanges.
