International Collaboration

Our global academic partners(updated February 2026)
The Research Center for Membrane and Film Technology is committed to international collaboration. Since its establishment in 2007, we have made every effort to build academic partnerships with renowned membrane research centers around the globe. To date, we have signed memorandum of understanding (MOUs) with 19 overseas partners. Through this extensive academic network, we actively promote collaborative research and personnel exchanges.
In 2014, we launched the International Workshop on Membranes in Kobe (iWMK), an international membrane workshop, to accelerate collaborative outcomes.
At this annual event, we invite our academic partners to present their recent research achievements and discuss current trends in membrane research. (Please refer to the iWMK featured page for more information).
iWMK has become a catalyst for our international collaborations. Since the first iWMK in 2014, we have published over 195 co-authored papers.
Please feel free to explore our webpages on co-authored publications and joint research projects.
