Same as the last year’s, the workshop will be in a hybrid mode combining on-site and online activities.

New building construction for open innovation (medical area) planned

By the opportunity that MaFTech’s international and industrial collaboration was highly evaluated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), a new building construction for open innovation was planned. It will be our new facility with special target on industral collaboration in medical area. The building is expected to start its operation by February of 2024.

The project of METI’s J-Innovation HUB considered for a 3 year extension

In December of 2020, MaFTech was selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in Japan for its initiative of “J-Innovation HUB”. As one J-Innovation HUB, MaFTech was highly evaluated by METI. As a result the project was considered to be extended to 2025.
Additionally, MaFTech was also selected for METI’s project of “J-Innovation Platform”. With the project support MaFTech’s new building is now under construction and expected to open by February of 2024.
